Making a Tandem Spinnerbait: Secret Weapon of the Pros!

This type of lure belongs to the so-called Wire Baits. You have Spinnerbaits in different versions. The type with silicone skirts are quite well known, including from the Pearson Grinders. These well-catching Pearsons have 1 blade; the so-called Single Blades Its brother is the Tandem Blade, equipped with two Spinner blades. This causes a lot of commotion in the water and is frequently used in our Dutch Polders.

How to get one Tandem Spinnerbait you can make yourself, we will show you below.

What do you need :
-1x Spinnerbait Head (14gr.)
-1x Silicone Skirt
-1x BB Swivel with Splitrings #3
-1x Colorado Leaf #3 Polish Brass
-1x Colorado Blade #5 Nickel
-1x Rider #3
-7x Hollow Bullet 4mm


Tools: Round nose pliers (knipex) / Cutting pliers (knipex) / Split ring pliers

Required components

Slide the skirt over the collar of Spinnerbait Head

Thread the hollow beads onto the upper arm of the Spinnerbait Frame

Important: In the photo you are looking into the concave side of the spinner blade. This is the correct way to attach. When mounted the other way around, the blade will not rotate.

Attach the swivel and cut away the protruding piece of wire

Attach the rear blade (the rear blade) Tip, use a : Split ring pliers
