Tungsten, also called tungsten, has a higher specific gravity than lead. This offers a large number of advantages:
- Because a Tungsten Cup 30% is smaller in size than a lead cup of the same weight, you experience less water pressure while fishing. This is particularly an advantage on running water.
- You can fish lighter. A Tungsten head has its weight more concentrated, so you can fish with lighter heads.
- Tungsten is a rock-hard material; much harder than lead. This makes you much better able to feel what is happening underwater, both in terms of bites and bottom structure.
- Due to the concentrated weight, a Tungsten head allows you to cast further and fish more precisely.
And in addition, Tungsten is absolutely not harmful to the environment. This is in contrast to its lead cousin!
